Golden Riverside figs are a jumbo yellow fruit with light interior and subtle sweet flavor. While Kremp Florist grows Golden Riverside figs in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, the plant originated in California. This variety was one of many grown at the University of California Riverside, where figs were assigned numbers and the letters “USC” to differentiate between types. It is not surprising then that “Riverside” appears in the name of this variety that grew on the campus. Luckily, today Golden Riverside figs are available to any fig enthusiasts not just in California, but across the country, who wishes to grow them. Contact Kremp Florist today to have a cutting delivered to you.

When do we ship cuttings?
Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December):
We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.
**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refridgerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees.
Rooted Cuttings(Spring):
We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span. Please do not ask for ETA's or specific arrival dates. You will receive an email when your order ships with UPS Ground tracking details.
